There is an article: Canford School, Wimborne written by Brenda Eveleigh, pages 26 to 28.There are pictures of the school, pupils playing cricket, pupils in the library, pupils during art lessons, the dormitories, and the outdoor swimming pool.

The Illustrated London News March 11, 1961. No. 6345-Volumne 238. There is an article: The education of British youth-LXXXII Canford School, on pages 393-396. It contains a brief account of the school and its history. There are five sketches by Dennis Flanders of the boys leaving for games, the school overlooking the river stour, John of Gaunt; 's Kitchen, the school chapel, and the parkland.
