Oboe in case with 'Lawrence Brewer' inscribed on silver nameplate. LB was tracked down and said that he had bought it in 1959 and sold it in 1963/4 to a 'woman who taught the oboe at a music school near Romsey, Hants' No further info so may have come via Canford Summer School of Music

Produced as part of a Business Studies 'Canford Social Enterprise' project. The team produced bags of Dominican coffee which were sold in aid of the Canford Partnership; the cups were an extra.

Awarded to EN Ewart who won it each year from 1923 - 25. He was also the captain of the rugby team and was briefly a sports coach at Canford after he had left. Given by his daughter, Fearne Spark in 2021.

Prep school cup (RN Saunders)

Awarded to RN Saunders in his final year at prep school for being Head Boy, achieving colours in four sports and winning an exhibition to Canford. Bought on Ebay, although not strictly a Canford archive item.

Silver chalice

Might not be a chalice as it has a stand. Given by AR Barbour Simpson to the parish church in 1937 when he left Canford to become a prep school headmaster at Hillstone. He was married to Enid Canning's sister and was a successful housemaster of Beaufort. He became an infamous headmaster (read AR Wilson), so the parish church thought it inappropriate to keep the dish.

Brass hand bell

Found in the Admissions Dept in 2023 where it had been for some time. Origin unknown, but probably used in School House for calls i the 1990s and earlier. Has a slightly Heath Robinson look to it, with the lead weight joined to the brass bell with a piece of wire and string. Handle (with brass end) not detached.
