Dorset County Netball Association winner's shield

Large wooden shield covered in small silver shields representing the winners of the Senior Schools Section Over fifty small shields covering a large number of schools. Earliest winner is Parkstone (1951) Canford won in 2003, 2010 and 2014. Other schools (eg Bryanston and especially Parkstone) won it more times but the large shield was full after 2014, so Canford kept the trophy

Inscribed on silver band “Presented to W. E. Taylor Esquire by the boys of Clarence School, Weston- Super-Mare Dec 1895” William E Taylor was the music master at Clarence School in 1895 but left soon afterwards. As the school only moved to WSM in 1895 he cannot have been there very long.
