This year was one of the most successful seasons that Canford's swimmers have had. The Senior team won most of their matches, and the Junior team included a large number of Shells, which promises well for the future. In the early part of the term Mr. Evan Bailey, the man whom we all thank for the excellent condition in which we always find the swimming pool, suffered a heart attack. Fortunately, after some weeks in hos-pital, he has now recovered, and we are glad to have him back. We are also very grateful to Mr. Ainsworth and Mr. Barr who have both given a great amount of time each week to supervise and encourage us.
