Rosslyn Park 7s

As the school celebrates another successful year at the Rosslyn Park 7s with several of the Boys rugby teams playing in the tournament, lets take a look back at 1997. Canford played several gruelling matches at Rosslyn Park and came away as overall winners in the team captained by Nick Makin (F97). Jeff Wilson (F97) said at the time: “Our success must ultimately be put down to the brilliant new coaching of Mark Burley, and the sage-like wisdom and experience of Mr. Lewis and Mr. Hobbs. Without their help we would surely have gone out in the first-round group matches.”
