The beginning of the 1987 season saw the return of all the veteran members of the club. However, we lacked the additional numbers and consequently suffered against schools with large squads who were able to field two teams. Despite this, the team ran bravely throughout the season and gave a good account of themselves on may occasions, noteably a second place at Allhallows, a very close second to Bryanston after an excellent race at home, and convincing victories against Dauntseys and Milton Abbey. Special mention must go to David Blayney, who ran consistently well from the front throughout the season. Our thanks to D.E.K. and R.H.P. for all their help and work. The team : D. Blayney, N. Borton (Capt), T. LeGallais, J. Blunt, K. Driver, J. Manning, H. Bengough.N. Borton
