Canford pupils were very fortunate to have had the schools first computer centre created in 1985! Whilst there are no records in the archive detailing the exact price that the school paid for the new computers at the time, the average cost of a home desktop computer in 1985 was over £1000 so it was a huge investment for the school at the time!
